Tom Petty was amazing. Behind us there was a very drunk man screaming, "TP! TP!" There was lightning everywhere but the rain held off for most of the concert. Jai and I danced like maniacs and I felt just like Mary Jane. Then the power went out. Someone behind me took this opportunity to run over to me and grab/knee me in the ass. I couldn't stop laughing at the idea of some guy thinking to himself, "Ok, the power's out, so I gotta go knee that chick in the ass while she can't see me." It started fucking pouring so we got under a tarp that someone had thought to bring. All these people, and none of them knew each other, just rocking out under this tarp- it was beautiful. Some guy who was ugly from the front but hot from the back kept grabbing/touching my arm and smiling at me. No way, dude. Finally we were so soaked that Klayre, Jai, and I ran out in the rain to start dancing. MK joined us. I've never been so wet in my life. It was amazing.
